Client Summary

Animal Care Center Pet Adoption Center in New York, New York, is known for its cat-related services and has received detailed feedback from visitors. One visitor noted: 'Today I went and picked up my dad’s dog & when I told them my story on what happened they were so amazing about everything ! If you’re wanting to adopt a dog or cat here this is definitely the place. Also I would like to add they do take care of their facility and the animals. Thank you ladies again for all your help ❀️ my Lilly girl is finally home' Another review mentioned: 'had an amazing experience adopting my rabbit from them. she was not spayed prior to adoption. a vet CALLED ME because i adopted from here. because my animal is β€œexotic” the vet guided me to the Center for Avian and Exotic medicine. i called them and they informed me they are pricey and that this shelter may offer some kind of assistance, low-cost surgery, something. i called the shelter simply for information and pricing, the worker was curt and seemed to not be listening. she tried to cut me off and say they are an adoption center (i know this because as i had informed her… i adopted my bunny from here). i told her i know that because i adopted my bunny from there. she cuts me off again and says ohh you got her from here okay ill give you a call back or the surgery team will by the end of today or tomorrow. it’s been over 3 days, ive called multiple times. i never get an answer nor a callback. if they don’t offer the service, all they have to do is inform me? really dimmed my experience here. i was recommending the shelter but don’t think i will anymore- communication and customer service is extremely important when the life of an animal is in your hands. update: apparently they don’t even offer that service!! i don’t know who i spoke to on Tuesday who said they do and left me waiting for a call. took 2 hours to get someone on the phone, put on hold, transferred. i could’ve had her booked at another place in the 3 BUSINESS DAYS i have been waiting after being given false information. will definitely not adopt from here again.'
