Client Summary

Low Cost Vet Mobile in Fresh Meadows, New York, is known for its cat-related services and has received detailed feedback from visitors. One visitor noted: 'After reading many negative reviews on google, and after being with vet mobile for a couple of times. I decided to share my own experience. 1. Yes, the wait time will be somewhere between 3-5 hours if there is no appointment scheduled. Even with appointments your approximate wait time might be 1.5 hours. Come and be prepared to wait. 2. Yes, they do not have the best customer service, BUT. After a couple of visits, I realized how ridiculously LONG the vet tech and vet is working per day. They would be at the van around 7-8AM and they are working until 12AM at night. They take in roughly about 30-40 clients a day and they do surgeries roughly from 6PM-12AM. With how long of a work schedule looking after pet after pet. I know they are already trying their best. If you are looking for great customer service, and are willing to have the time to answer your question over and over again, other vet out there who is charging way more will be more than happy to do that. Not saying it sarcastically but, facts are, you paid more, you expect more. 3. The charges here is very reasonable. For people who don’t have any idea: Blood work with doctors’ visit fee would cost you around $400 and that’s with vet that doesn’t try to scam you with all the extra fees. I paid $140, and 25 extra for FVP test. The dental procedure with all the medication is roughly $800. The quote I get elsewhere would probably double again. I was scared originally thinking my cat’s issue would cost me $3000 or more, but then to found out I can get everything done within $1000 and to found out my cat is very healthy no renal problems. I couldn’t be happier! I have a sense of feeling that the staff here hated people who mistreated their pet. They get a bit mad when people refuse or denied part of their service because they only give what is necessary for the animal. There are no extra charges unless you request certain things to be done. Now, this is where I hope a little more communication would help a bit more, because with how loud the engine is, it is a little hard to hear them, and I do have some hearing problems. However, simply saying, they hope their client would listen to vet’s advice and would consider people who don’t NOT a very good owner. We have some miscommunication with my cat having a cold so she can’t do the dental without the antibiotics. While I was just explaining that she does not have a cold, because the she is chronically having this issue for the past year. The vet tech thought I was denying the medication, where I was just trying to explain it’s not a common cold, and never actually denied anything. Of course, the vet called me to come back for the medication if I want to schedule the surgery, because with a URI you can’t do anesthesia safely which makes total sense. After we have this miscommunication sorted out, the process was overall smooth then. My cat went home from the surgery and she is recovering. Hopefully her excess gum won’t come back. Overall, I think the staffs here really must love animals to do what they do. They are trying their best to help with people who are genuinely trying to help their pet get better. And of course, they are vet, they are not GOD, even vets out there who is charging 5x more can’t guaranteed all the pets they see will all come home alive, there are complications. If you are worried about your pet’s health, come see the vet ASAP, don’t wait until they can’t help anymore.' Another review mentioned: 'Very very nice and extremely professional service ! They preformed emergency surgery and saved one of my dogs lives! Will only be going to you guys from now on with all my pets thanks for saving my dogs life!'
