Client Summary

The Sunnyside Pet Healthcare & Dental Center in Sunnyside, New York, is known for its cat-related services and has received detailed feedback from visitors. One visitor noted: 'On July 24th, I called Sunnyside Animal Clinic in an emergency because my cat, Blackula, was not feeling well, and I didn't know what to do. Unfortunately, on this day I had the worst customer experience ever. The person i spoke with on the phone was unhelpful and repeatedly told me that Blackula wouldn't receive any assistance because I had an outstanding bill. I was unaware Blackula had gone on his own on June 21st for an ear cleaning. (We were not even in the country on this date) I couldn't believe what I was hearing and was crying on the phone, telling her that my cat was dying. Eventually, I hung up. A few minutes later, I received a call from the vet's office explaining that there had been a mistake regarding my cat's information and there was no outstanding balance, ( this after a 10 min phone disagreement) The most frustrating part was that I initially called to get advice from a veterinarian on how to help my cat. Still, the service I received was disappointing and lacked any empathy. I would not recommend this Veterinarian clinic.' Another review mentioned: 'I’ve taken my dog to Sunnyside Animal Clinic twice and unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with the experience. Each visit cost $85 and felt extremely rushed, with very little explanation or care. I was also charged a $30 copay for medication that turned out to be over-the-counter and still had to pay full price for the medsβ€”which I later found on Amazon for a fraction of the cost. I’ve already spent over $400 and walked out of my last visit due to the high prices and lack of value. Definitely not worth the money, and I won’t be returning.'
