Client Summary

Sean Casey Animal Rescue in Brooklyn, New York, is known for its cat-related services and has received detailed feedback from visitors. One visitor noted: 'Unfriendly staff when it comes to volunteering to walk their dogs. No proper introduction to the dogs so the dogs can be familiar and safe with strangers. None of the dogs are on harness instead the leash is to their neck collars. The place also overall looks dirty and unkempt. Judging by what other commentators say, I wonder if the staff are more judgmental towards non white volunteers vs their white volunteers' Another review mentioned: 'There is no safe guarding your personal information here. I came to Sean Casey to walk dogs. There was the employee that was responsible for handling the dogs. He was a short man with light skin, curly hair, and a beard. I gave him my name, phone number, and my state ID to hold onto while I walked the dogs and it had my full home address on it. He proceeded to take my phone number from the clipboard after I had left to text me to ask for my social media. I tried calling the main company phone, left a voice mail, messaged them on social media since they’re incredibly active, and sent an email. They never contacted me back and it’s been a week. There must be better security on information like this because we are choosing to trust them with our information. I am disgusted that this company is so neglectful and allows my personal information to be accessed in this manner. Update: It’s been four weeks since I first contacted them. I sent an update three weeks ago to even more emails on their contact page and still no response. It’s funny how they’re checking their inbox for people interested in paying an insane adoption fee but radio silence when their employee behaved unprofessionally.'
