Client Summary

Staten Island Veterinary Group in Staten Island, New York, is known for its cat-related services and has received detailed feedback from visitors. One visitor noted: 'This place is fine if your dog is young and healthy, I would not recommend bringing your dog here if your dog is older and /or sick. My dog had a swollen stomach and in checking my dog out giving X-rays ($1,000 for 3 X-rays by the way) it appears they somehow ruptured his spleen and would not own up to it. Before I brought him in he was fine only had a swollen stomach. I brought him home, he was out of it (so bad I called and asked if they sedated him) he had massive bloody diarrhea, then lethargic and unconscious for three days and never recovered. I’m not gonna talk about the bad advice they gave, and the lack of guidance for a dog that’s bleeding out, for instance, they did not even suggest Yunnan Baiyao when I told them what was happening. This was one of my worst nightmares lived out. Like I said if your dog is young and healthy you just need some regular flea and tick medicine prescribed the place is fine. Once your dog gets older and sick you may want to find a different veterinarian.' Another review mentioned: 'Wonderful care for our cats and dogs.'
