Client Summary

ASPCA Animal Hospital in New York, New York, is known for its cat-related services and has received detailed feedback from visitors. One visitor noted: 'This place is Not for the community as they say. It's only for whom they choose to make acceptable, they never answer the phones or return call backs.. I've been waiting on a call back for months now. Honestly I don't think anyone should donate to this facility with the lack of companion they claim for animals' Another review mentioned: 'They did a great job checking up on my cat, but this situation is really frustrating. My cat has an emergency and needs an FHO surgery, yet all I’m being told is that the surgeon won’t be available for a couple of weeks, and the earliest surgery date they can offer is in a few months. This is unacceptable for a cat with a dislocated leg and a damaged hip. He is already on pain medication almost every day, and I’m concerned about how long he will need to remain on it. I chose ASPCA because the cost of the surgery is much lower than elsewhere, but the delay feels unprofessional and puts my cat’s recovery at risk. Prolonging the surgery could lead to further complications, such as weakness in his leg or arthritis, and make rehabilitation more difficult. This surgery is expensive, yes, but it is not a procedure that should take months to schedule. I’m very concerned about my cat’s well-being and hope this can be addressed more urgently.'
